Famous for being the only airline in the world to operate only Airbus A220s. It believed in this model from the beginning; in fact, it was the first ever customer of the Bombardier CSeries, which was later sold to Airbus and changed its name to A220 (read the story here).
2020 was supposed to be a big year for the company and instead, like all its other colleagues in the skies, it was the most difficult year in its young history. The pandemic accelerated the decommissioning of old Boeing 737s that were still in the fleet, reduced the network that also had to adapt to restrictions imposed by the Latvian government.
In the past, however, yellow fuselage planes have also reached Abu Dhabi and various destinations in Russia.
