British Airways, now you can cancel any booking for free
Sometimes the changes are for the better and not for the worse. Bravo British
The British airline has changed, once again, its policy of flexibility for its passengers.
In this article:
Unlike with other companies, the update did not bring a worsening of policies, rather what was communicated with a post on the official Instagram channel is a definite improvement of cancellation policies in favor of passengers.

In detail all the rules are explained in the dedicated section of the BA website.
The main change is that in fact all reservations, both existing ones and those that will be made in the coming days until policies change again, will be cancelable.
You can request a voucher with a value equal to the amount of your reservation, which will be valid for travel until April 30, 2022, if:
- you booked before March 3, 2020, for travel scheduled to begin by January 10, 2021
- you made your reservation on or after March 3, 2020, for travel to be completed by August 31, 2021
Vouchers can be used as payment, in full or in part, for a future reservation, and the newly booked trip must be completed by April 30, 2022 (departure and return). You will receive the voucher via email within seven days of submitting your application.
The flexibility policy, therefore, impacts not only old tickets, but also those that a passenger might buy tomorrow to fly on New Year's Eve, for example, and then change his or her mind.
