The traditional conversion rate is 10 payback points = 5 Alitalia miles, from October 22 to November 22 instead it will be 1:1 , so you will earn twice as many miles.
Converting points is super easy: just log onto the payback portal and log in. Decide how many points to transfer and wait at most a week to see the points credited to your millemiglia profile. This may then be the best time to apply for the American Express Payback and immediately take advantage of the welcome bonus to turn it into Alitalia miles
As a reminder, Alitalia announced an extension of the program deadline to the end of 2021, thus allowing miles to be used by January 31, 2022.
