If 2020 is a year dotted with numerous failures, where the game against Covid-19 seems lost at the start, Las Vegas instead wins easy.

Credit the opening of Circa Resort, Las Vegas' first adults-only casino, which makes the city that has always been known as "the entertainment capital" even more attractive.
A behemoth of more than 116,000 square feet on a tower that, at 44 stories, is second in height only to the Stratosphere Tower. Also important was the decision to open downtown and not on the strip.
The hotel occupies an entire block on the world-famous Freemont Experience, and it is certain that this opening will help shift interest back to "old" Las Vegas.
The choice of target audience is not random because, as Circa creator Derek Stevens explains, "By focusing only on adults we will be able to provide customers with superior service. For example, guests might notice faster service by eliminating the delay caused by bartenders and retailers having to identify customers who might not be old enough to drink alcohol or gamble."
One of the features that makes this new creation unique is that. Circa is the first resort, in which hotel and casino coexist, to be built completely from scratch since 1980.A gamble, given the pandemic times, that makes Derek Stevens a true gambler, who is credited with creating a veritable haven for those nostalgic for the golden days of Las Vegas.
Not surprisingly, in fact, the entire facility features a vintage design that winks at the city's history while revealing itself as a true treasure chest of modernity, where retro style frames state-of-the-art amenities.
Although the full opening is scheduled for December, Derek Stevens decided to throw open the doors of the first five floors of his new attraction on Oct. 28.
A date that, in addition to bringing excitement and even more fun to Las Vegas, significantly boosts employment by offering 1,500 jobs.
The opening was celebrated with a gala event, enlivened by a swimmer's show at Stadium Swim, accompanied by a series of videos celebrating the personalities who have given light to the Circa Resort.
While opening the games were the very operators of Las Vegas casinos, who gathered at the gaming table for Circa's first official dice roll.
The attractions of the best casino in Las Vegas
- The flagship of the Circa Resort is the About Sports, the world's largest betting center, with a three-story structure reminiscent of a stadium and accommodating up to 1,000 people. Inside is a 78-million-pixel high-definition screen capable of playing up to 19 games simultaneously. And to the delight of bettors, there is a team of experts offering the most diverse betting menu in Las Vegas, along with in-depth analysis.
- Also no less noteworthy is the colossal Stadium Swim: the largest beach destination in the country, as well as a grand swimming pool embraced by an amphitheater, located on the rooftop of the resort. It boasts 6 large pools with temperature-controlled water, 2 bars, 30 exclusive cabanas, more than 300 loungers, and a 14-million-pixel screen more than forty meters long to enjoy major sporting events in a privileged setting.
- Hunger for victory, however, is not the only one Derek Stevens has thought about. That is why at Circa you will also find the best restaurants in Las Vegas, such as the steakhouse Barry's Downtown Prime, by chef Barry S. Dakake: the resort's most elegant restaurant, where the finest steaks are served amid artwork that embellishes a glamorous location that harkens back to the atmosphere of the 1950s.
- Also not to be missed are the bars, especially the Mega Bar, which with its considerable size is the longest indoor bar in Nevada. Inspired by the Longbar of its big brother the "D," here guests can enjoy sporting events thanks to as many as 46 televisions.
- The casino is a large space divided into two levels, featuring elegant Art Deco-style gaming rooms housing 1,350 slot machines.
- There is no shortage of artwork and there is even an art gallery that for the first few months will be entirely dedicated to Lego and "Sin city"-themed constructions made with the iconic colorful bricks.
- As for the hospitality area, the tower of thehotel will have 777 rooms that will be bookable for figures around $299 per night, with access to special rates for some dates in 2021, with figures dropping to around $119 per night.
