When they say "love is in the air": they meet aboard a plane and are now husband and wife

When you're traveling alone, it's always fun to guess who the mates travelling, compatriot or foreigner, young or adult, businessman/woman or vacationer, will they be sociable and will you talk to them? Or will everyone be their own account?

The most interesting encounters are often made while traveling, and the story we are about to tell you is about just that, a flight Southwest and a common row changed two people's lives.

It all begins in November 2018, when an early 5 a.m. layover takes the flight from New York to Dallas, Cathlyn, who was returning from a weekend spent with friends, while looking for the right place to sit, notices a boy who is sitting alone in the seat near the exit, our Michael obviously.

So much for those who say women never do the first step, well Cathlyn decides to sit down. near to him, with the hope of exchanging four chatter to make the trip more pleasant; except that an Indian pastor, visiting New York to take up service, decides to sit between the two...

Ruining Cathlyn's plans? Far from it!

The three of them talk all along the way about a wide variety of topics and immediately find themselves in attunement, to the point of even discovering that Michael's aunt practically lives in the next to Cathlyn's family in Austin, a true sign of the destiny.

After the flight, the three decide to keep the contacts And Michael a week later, in order not to waste time, you do 6-hour drive, from Lubbock, Texas, to Austin to take Cathlyn out to dinner. From there a year-long dating begins, until the fateful day arrives:

What better location to ask for the hand of your beloved than on the very plane that triggered the spark?

Well actually not really that plane, but rather the first airplane ever by Southwest, which has now become a museum in Dallas, Texas, one year after their flight together i.e. November 2019.

Also Southwest wanted to congratulate the engagement, sending a bottle of Champagne with the number of the flight that brought them together on it.

And so, like the best stories with happy endings, a year later Cathlyn and Michael were married. nuptials. The reception was themed, in fact, guests could sit in an original Southwest row to take some souvenir photos.

In addition, Southwest shipped the snacks typical that can be found on board, as well as a number of nice themed gadgets.
