Status Match Virgin Atlantic, new offer to become elite: now even more affordable

Virgin Atlantic, a new offering

In a short time Virgin Atlantic has decided to improve its status match offering. Previously, the upgrade was done immediately. Customers were simply required to wait a maximum of 48 hours for Silver or Gold.

The company, however, has realized that the immediate upgrade is not the most appealing reason for many customers. Although 2021 is set to be the year of the tourism industry's restart, many tickets currently have somewhat distant dates, from next summer to the second half of the year. What is status match

Within a maximum period of 30 days from the request made, the level will be recognized. Here is how the "conversion" works:

• British Airways Executive Club Bronze: Flying Club Silver (Premium or Upper Class booking required)
• British Airways Executive Club Silver: Flying Club Silver (any reservation will be accepted)
• British Airways Executive Club Gold: Flying Club Gold (any reservation will be accepted)
