Encouraged by the high number of bookings, Air Senegal announced that it will further increase its direct flights from Milan Malpensa from 3 to 5 weekly starting July 1, 2021. It will thus be the airline with the highest number of weekly flights between Italy and Senegal for the 2021 summer season.
In this article:
The 4th flight is scheduled on Sundays starting June 20, and the 5th from Thursday, July 1. All five weekly flights will be operated exclusively by the Airbus A321 every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, offering 16 seats in business class and 149 in economy class.
Flights are conveniently scheduled to ensure fast connections in both directions via Dakar to other African destinations such as Abidjan, Bamako, Conakry, Banjul, Nouakchott, Ziggachoir, and soon Freetown.
The brand new Airbus A321, which will operate the flights, is configured with 16 business class seats with 180° reclining seats that become a comfortable bed and 149 economy class seats. Air Senegal is the first African airline to use a single-aisle aircraft configured, however, with a premium cabin for business class passengers.
Note how the baggage allowance included in the fare is 46 kg divided into two suitcases (23 kg each) and is valid for passengers flying from Milan to the entire African network via Dakar, in both directions.
Air Senegal has a new frequent flyer program called Teranga Loyalty, unfortunately, it does not participate in any alliance and therefore it is not possible to book award flights using points or miles accumulated with other carriers.
