From May Turkish Airlines reintroduced the Flying Chef, or airline chefs ready to serve passengers on long-distance flights of more than eight hours. A service that was suspended due to the pandemic and now returns to embellish the offerings to give customers an added benefit during the journey.

The return of the Flying Chefs
The airline informs that Flying Chefs have been selected for their culinary and customer service-oriented skills. They are responsible for cooking and supervision regarding food preparation. Only quality and fresh ingredients are used for this service. To experience A culinary experience under the banner of Turkish tradition you can taste meatballs with sautéed zucchini and red bell pepper. Just as unmissable are the homemade ravioli with ground meat, tomato sauce and yogurt. Turkish Airlines' high-quality dishes served by Flying Chefs have already earned the airline numerous awards, including the title of "Best in-flight catering service in the world".
Premium menus and in-flight services return
"Over the past year, we have had to make many changes to our product and service offerings to protect the health and safety of our passengers and employees," explained Turkish Airlines Board of Directors and Executive Committee Chairman Ilker Ayci, "Our award-winning food service and the Flying Chefs program are a distinctive aspect of the airline's. We are now pleased to reintroduce this service worldwide to make the in-flight experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible." In addition to Flying Chefs, Turkish Airlines has now resumed its other in-flight services, including a selection of hot and cold beverages, fresh juices, and "Fly Good, Feel Good" wellness teas.
In April 2021, in compliance, Turkish Airlines reintroduced full premium menus prepared with fresh ingredients, from its award-winning world-renowned catering brand, Turkish DO & CO. In addition to Flying Chefs, premium in-flight meals and hot meal service have been reintroduced on all Business and Economy Class flights.
Turkish Airlines' commitment to ensure safe and free Covid flights
Turkish Airlines has been awarded Diamond status by APEX Health Safety, provided by SimpliFlying. A recognition for the continued efforts of the airline in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In fact, in June 2020 the company introduced new services on board to protect the health of its guests. In addition to distributing kits containing a face mask, disinfectant and antiseptic tissue, hygiene experts have been selected.
