Crafted with Qatar Airways' unique design DNA, the new Adient Ascent Business Class Suite embodies a contemporary, spacious and functional design. The company describes the new QSuite As a "private sanctuary."
The 787 has a total capacity of 311 seats: 30 Business Class Suites and 281 Economy Class seats. Qatar thus confirms its willingness not to equip its planes with premium economy cabins, unlike Emirates and many other airlines.

The new QSuites are arranged in a herringbone, 1-2-1 configuration, meaning that all passengers will have direct access to the aisle with a sliding door for maximum privacy and comfort. Passengers seated in adjacent middle suites can slide away the privacy panels at the touch of a button to create their own enclosed private space.
Business Class Suite converts to a 2-meter double bed. Passengers can relax during the flight, knowing that their personal mobile device is safely stored in a dedicated phone holder, equipped with wireless charging technology compatible with iOS and Android devices.
Also new for economy class passengers: each seat is equipped with a 13-inch Panasonic IFE touch screen, as well as a holder for personal electronic devices. It also has a swivel armrest that can be fully stowed in the seatback, providing a more comfortable and spacious experience.
