With the introduction of the winter schedule, the Finnish airline. Finnair, a member of the OneWorld alliance., will operate three intercontinental routes from Sweden for the first time.

All routes will be operated using Airbus A350s in the fleet. The first flight to take off from Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) will be to Bangkok (BKK) on October 22, with five flights per week. Frequency will increase with daily departures on November 28. Just from mid-October, Thailand is scheduled to fully reopen.
Finnair will also fly To Phuket International Airport (HKT). starting Oct. 24, initially it will be one weekly connection to rise to two weekly departures from Nov. 4, and to three flights per week starting Dec. 30.
The third new long-haul route will be to Miami (MIA): the first flight is scheduled for October 23. Again it will start with weekly connections, increasing to 4 from November 29.
Finnair is a partner of American Express, so it is possible to reserve award tickets using Membership Rewards points to be converted into Avios points with a conversion rate of 5:4.
