Designed by wife Cinzia's Primatesta architectural firm, the Laqua blends perfectly with the lake and surrounding landscape. Zero impact on the environment, Is class A and takes advantage of several innovative systems for water and energy conservation. In fact, there is also a rainwater and groundwater collection network inside for irrigation of the park. There are also electric cars available to guests, with a charging station in the private parking lot.
The facility uses a hybrid heat pump generator system that harnesses groundwater from the lake and powers electricity generation. There are 16 apartments equipped with a private kitchen, living room and outdoor terrace. Also present are two penthouses, to which -to the "basic" amenities . are added a private Jacuzzi, strictly lake view. The Beach club, also open by reservation for outside guests, has a heated infinity pool on the lake water framed by sunbathing areas and loungers. The set transports guests to a Caribbean island with the sound of music at sunset, accompanied by a wide selection of cocktails and wines.
There are many purely water sports activities offered by the facility: static or movement apnea, gentle water gymnastics, scuba diving, guided water relaxation, personal trainers, Kids as dolphin, water skiing, wake-boarding or wake-surfing in addition to the possibility of renting the first electric boat on the lake. In September, the offerings will be enhanced with a fitness and wellness area focusing on body care with state-of-the-art anti-aging technologies.
On the official website you can get an idea of the prices for staying at the facility. For a garden view apartment the cost is €500, while it is over €1,000 for penthouses equipped with jacuzzi. Packages are also offered, of 4 or 7 nights, including a dinner at the restaurant and an activity on the lake.
The restaurant inside the resort
Laqua by the Lake is located in the territory of Pettenasco and now also offers dishes from the new restaurant located inside the resort on Lake Orta. Also open to outsiders (reservation required), the restaurant offers different menus throughout the day, with an unusual setting. It will be possible to choose between an outdoor table or under the elegant portico. The starred chef has come up with delicious dishes that celebrate the land and its origins, for his second restaurant at Lake Orta.
