Brand expands Radisson Hotel Group in Italy. Seven new hotels are opening in our country, part of the Group's new plan. These are two Radisson Collection hotels in Milan and Venice, the debut of Radisson Individuals with two properties in Piedmont and Sicily, two new Radisson hotels in Ferrara and Nola, and Radisson Blu's latest hotel located in Florence. Radisson Collection Hotels in Milan and Venice
In time for the reopening of international travel, two splendid facilities open in Milan and Venice. Radisson Collection Hotel - Palazzo Nani Venice falls under the Group's lifestyle brand. Built in the 16th century, it is a boutique hotel located near the Ponte delle Guglie overlooking the Cannaregio Canal. After extensive restoration, Nani Palace is in effect the perfect embodiment of the Radisson Collection brand in design, authenticity and atmosphere. With Renaissance architecture, the property consists of 52 rooms and three apartments with large rooms lit by natural light. Standard rooms are 24sqm, while the Presidential Suite is 64sqm, many overlooking the city's canals. Guests can also enjoy dishes from the hotel's Zoja Restaurant. In Milan on August 30, 2021, the inauguration of the Radisson Collection Hotel - Palazzo Touring Club Milan. Home of the Touring Club Italian, founded in 1894, the historic building is located in the center of Milan and has been extensively renovated. It consists of 89 rooms designed for tourists or business travelers with views of the main street, Corso Italia, or the interior. Amenities include not only free wi-fi and complimentary access to the fitness center, but also the chance to try the Bertarelli Restaurant--named after Touring Club founding member Luigi Vittorio Bertarelli--and the Club's extraordinary historical library.
Radisson Blu in Florence
New openings include the Radisson Blu Hotel in Florence. The property will open on December 1, 2021, and has 329 rooms and suites, including a spacious 70-square-meter presidential suite, as well as two restaurants and a bar. With more than 1,500 square meters of meeting space, divided into 10 meeting rooms, the hotel boasts one of the largest conference centers in the city. Also featured are a 25-meter outdoor swimming pool, two tennis courts, and a fully equipped gymnasium. The Radisson Blu Hotel is located a few kilometers from Florence station and overlooks the picturesque hill of San Miniato al Monte.
Radisson Individuals to debut in Sicily and Piedmont
The Group's new brand, Radisson Individuals, debuts with two new facilities in Sicily and Piedmont. Borgo di Luce I Monasteri Golf Resort & Spa is a historic 5-star hotel in the Syracuse hinterland and is located inside a villa that was once a Benedictine monastery, then the home of several noble families, including the Catalanos and the Barons of Melilli. Surrounded by citrus groves, palms, carob and olive trees, it consists of 102 rooms equipped with every comfort. There is an 18-hole par 71 golf course, large SPA, fitness area and large outdoor pool with whirlpool.
In Piedmont, on the other hand, there is the Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa, consisting of 49 luxury suites in traditional chalet style. It offers two restaurants, a large spa with sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor heated pool, and a multimedia meeting room that can accommodate up to 80 guests.
Openings also in Ferrara and Nola
In the third quarter of 2021, two new facilities are expected to open in Ferrara and Nola. The Radisson Hotel Ferrara - entirely renovated - has 80 rooms and five two-bedroom apartments, a lobby bar, a restaurant, three meeting rooms and a state-of-the-art gymnasium. The facility is located within the walled perimeter in historic Ferrara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Radisson Nola includes 75 double rooms, 70 standard rooms and 5 suites, as well as a finely designed restaurant adjacent to the hotel, three meeting rooms and a fitness area. Nola, in the province of Naples, is one of the most economically strategic destinations in southern Italy. It is home to the headquarters of major companies including CIS, Alstom, PPG, Alenia and Leonardo Aerospace.
