There are those who prefer to relax away from everything and everyone, cool and without the thought of having to stay bottled up on the way home. There is only one place that offers all this in summer: the mountain.
Experiencing the mountains in summer is for real amateurs, today's featured hotel allows you to savor the all-around alpine climate, clean, fresh air and breathtaking views.
It is called Zero Real Estate and is located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, and as you can easily see, the special feature of these rooms is that they have no walls and no roof.

Zero Real Estate: immersed in the Alps
This revolutionary new hotel concept is the brainchild of entrepreneur Daniel Charbonnier and conceptual artists Frank and Patrik Riklin.
Zero Real Estate is a set of suite of hotel that aims to break down the traditional concept of the hotel by placing the focus on the experience that the hotel itself offers, almost as if the room were the panorama himself or the Switzerland same.
"The concept 'spoke' to me as a hotel professional. Throughout the segmentation of the hotel world, from camping, to two-star, to entire palaces, I perceived that the value system for guests has changed from tangible aspects toward intangible experiences and aspects."
Daniel Charbonnier, Co-Founder
The experience is certainly fascinating, the hotel has seven rooms scattered in 7 different locations in eastern Switzerland, reaching 2,000 meters above sea level.
La waiting list is very long, the Covid has unfortunately put the project on hold for the time being, and the people in line to stay at the exclusive hotel, according to Charbonnier, are even 9.000.
The experience is enriched with an element that Charbonnier does not want to do without, namely, what he calls the "modern butler." Providing a service personalized is essential.
The butler takes care of guests' every need, should it rain, will help move to an indoor room near the facilities, if guests wish to dine, the room service is always available, even if guests wish to make a walk or an excursion the butler is always there to help them.
Butlers are trained for all eventualities, even making the bed with the wind o cross streams or creeks with the tray in hand.
Zero Real Estate: price of rooms
The annual opening is in July, and prices for rooms start from 295 francs Swiss, or about 270€ per night.
Now that the Green Pass is finally a reality, we can already fantasize about where to go this summer, assuming you haven't already booked a flexible ticket!
