Bali is itching to get going again but, at least for the time being, the green light has not yet been triggered. Access to this paradise on earth is still restricted, considering the necessary security measures taken and the slowdown in the vaccination process.
In this article:
This, however, does not prevent us from looking to the near future with hope, kicking off a real tourism campaign that could have surprising implications. This is the operation "Back to Bali", initially launched by Finns Bali, famous beach club in the area. An idea aimed at offering a chance for the local economy to reinvigorate itself. At the same time, however, a hand is extended to prospective tourists. They are offered a huge dose of flexibility, provided they pay well in advance.
Bali is ready to go again
On the new tourism campaign, he expressed himself Beau Whittington by Finns Bali: "We have no words to be able to express how excited we are to welcome back travelers from all over the world. We created this campaign to make the dream of a trip to Bali. This does not only affect Finns, but the entire island and every local industry that is part of the tourism sector. There is still a long road ahead of us, but this is a crucial first step. Let's look to the future and the new welcome we can give the world in this paradise."

Return to Bali, latest updates
Unfortunately, returning to Bali will have to wait. The latest updates are from early July. The tourism minister confirmed the postponement of the planned reopening in late July-early August. The spikes in cases of Covid-19 are still being recorded and large numbers of tourists cannot be admitted, for the safety of locals and travelers themselves.
The country, however, beyond individual operators, is also looking to the future. The idea is to attract so-called digital nomads, that is, web workers who need nothing more than a stable Internet connection. They will be granted a work visa valid for 5 years, which provides no tax on foreign-born income.
