I visited, briefly, this lounge on my trip to the Balearic Island with the 747 by Lufthansa.
In this article:
I landed and, after reaching the terminal by bus, did not even leave the sterile area. Before heading to the gate to re-board the same plane that had taken me to Spain, I popped into this lounge, which, at that moment, was the only one open in the airport.
Small note. On the APP of Priority Pass, which provides access to this lounge, this lounge was completely different, so either it was recently renovated and furnished like the others or there is some confusion.
The position
Compared to my gate, and actually to all gates, this lounge is exactly on the opposite side. If, however, as is normally the case you will go to the lounge immediately after security checks, this lounge is in the perfect location.
The nice thing about this lounge is that it is located on the ground floor, the same floor where passengers pass through. It is therefore totally accessible and easy to spot. It does not overlook the runway but right on the airport corridors, with large windows.
Unfortunately, being the only VIP room open, it is very crowded. I was able to get in easily, but 5 minutes later the line was 20 people.
Lots of line also to proceed to the buffet, which is not even self-service.
You stand in front of small display cases, indicate to the attendant what you want, and your tray is prepared.
Not before going all the way through the line duly spaced out. Having finished the food line, you arrive at the bar counter where you order drinks.
I think the solution with the QR code adopted in many lounges such as those of British Airways Is definitely better. It is true, however, that those lounges are generally operated directly by the companies and not by third parties as in this case.
The hall is very large and offers different types of accommodations.
There are classic bar tables, high seating, workstations, comfortable sofas, and even small rooms where you can have meetings.
The combination of the small capacity and the fact that it is the only open lounge does not make it easy to find a quiet space, but the main issue I encountered was the way food & beverage was picked up.
There is also a small, darker, quieter lounge for those who want to take a nap before their flight.
In conclusion
Lounge more than valid for cardholders Priority Pass and for business class passengers of the various airlines that fly to this airport. The only downside was the less than courteous staff who tried to discourage passengers by suggesting that they go straight to the gate and not enter given the limited time available.

Pro
- Bright
- Many locations with power outlet
Against
- Unfriendly staff
- Little choice of food
- The mode of ordering food is too cumbersome and slow
