Jumbo Stay, Sweden
With a low-cost flight, you can fly to Stockholm. And, here, board another plane to ... sleep! The Jumbo Stay, fashioned from a Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet, is in fact just a stone's throw from Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. It was born inside a decommissioned aircraft of the Transjet company (now bankrupt) and is a hostel with 25 cabins including double or quad rooms, standard doubles and suites. The most beautiful solution? The former cockpit; the cost is 200 euros (the others, however, cost about 50 per night).
Vliegtuigsuite Teuge, Netherlands
A Teuge, in the Netherlands, the Vliegtuigsuite Teuge is now a very exclusive suite. After years of service with the East German airline Interflug, a Soviet turboprop from the 1960s has been transformed into a luxury suite with a hot tub, infrared sauna and kitchenette. Everything is designed for just two guests and is perfect for nature lovers. In fact, from here you can visit the Veluwe nature reserve or Bussloo, a recreational area ideal for swimming, fishing, hiking, golf, horseback riding and diving.

Nature Lodge, France
Within the Nature Lodge, a Barjac (Occitania), you will find one of the most beautiful aircraft turned into hotels ever. Here, you can sleep in a Cessna 170 from the 1960s, or in its control tower. The bed inside the plane is recommended for children (it is only 100 cm wide!), while in the control tower there is more space. Everything is decorated in the theme of "The Little Prince." A fun solution for a family vacation.
Apple Camping, Wales
It is called "Arabian Nights" the room that, carved out of a Airbus first part of the Ethiad fleet, allows people to sleep in the Welsh countryside. Inside Apple Camping, it accommodates up to four people and costs £179 per night. The campground, after all, is known precisely for its unusual accommodations: it also houses a jet (Jetsar) and a UFO of sorts for nights ... from another planet!
Costa Verde, Costa Rica
Among the planes turned into hotels, one of the most spectacular is located in the heart of the Costa Rica. Truth be told, Costa Verde is a full-fledged resort with rooms, restaurants, and swimming pools. However, those who wish can stay overnight inside an old 1965 Boeing 727 airframe used by South Africa Air and Avianca Airlines. Today it is a two-bedroom apartment with wooden interiors and a spectacular view of the vegetation.
Woodlyn Park Motel Units, New Zealand
