Italy enters Jetblue's radar: thanks to A321XLR could target Milan, Venice and Rome

The ongoing World Routes in Milan gives Italian travelers a joy, although for now it is only a possibility and not a certainty.

In Milan, Eric Friedman, director of network development for the American airline JetBlue, spoke at a press conference about the possible development of intercontinental routes by the carrier, which recently launched its first connection between New York and London, These destinations would include all of northern Italy.

The A321 XLR is set to revolutionize the world of intercontinental travel with the ability to fly routes of nearly 9,000 km in a single-aisle aircraft. More than 450 planes have been ordered by dozens of airlines, and JetBlue will be one of the first customers to get their hands on this plane starting in 2022.

For Italian travelers, both economy and business class, this could be great news.

The former will be able to board one of the best tourist-class cabins in the world today, while the latter will be able to experience firsthand the spectacle offered by "Mint Class," or the premium cabin aboard aircraft in the blue livery.

In recent days I made my first intercontinental flight aboard a Single-aisle aircraft, namely the A321LR in Tap Portugal livery..
