Available on Airbnb starting September 20, was designed by Kim Raymond, or the designer of Winnie The Pooh, who wanted to give away a dream. "This Bearbnb is a unique experience that gives fans a chance to immerse themselves in the magical world of Pooh, while celebrating the original adventures that have accompanied many people for a full 95 years," he explained.
What can be found in the house of Winnie the Pooh
Perfect for families, Winnie the Pooh's house is located in Ashdown Forest., the famous 100 Acre Wood, which - located in the county of East Sussex - is half an hour from London-Gatwick Airport and an hour from London Heathrow. And it really is a surprise, very true to the universe of the greedy bear: the "Mr. Sanders" sign as in the story, the wooden furniture, the wallpaper designed by Raymond.
There is a double bed on the ground floor, while two suspended single beds look like the work of magic. There is also a small living room and kitchen. In addition, it is possible to book a guided tour of the Forest of 100 Acres, taste local honey and play stick racing on the iconic Pooh Sticks Bridge.
Fun house rules, too:
- Efelants are strictly forbidden to enter
- Keeping hands out of honey jars
- 11:00 a.m. is the perfect time for a snack
- it is compulsory to play the stick race on the bridge
- is allowed to take more naps

How to book
Unfortunately, Winnie The Pooh's house is not forever. Currently, it is only possible to reserve it the night of Sept. 24, or the night of the 25th, at a cost of 95 pounds (111 euros). All proceeds will be donated to Together for Short Lives, a charity aimed at providing palliative care to seriously ill children. Reservations open on Monday, September 20, and reviews from previous trips will be taken into consideration when choosing who to "grant" the stay to.
Unfortunately, it will not be possible to book from Italy: only travelers from the United Kingdom are allowed for this first opening. However, its creator does not rule out opening it again in the future, even for those residing elsewhere. To let more people experience the magic of a Winnie The Pooh day.
After all, on Airbnb, original dwellings can be found by the dozens: just think of Hansel and Gretel's house, Puss in Boots. But also boats, airplanes, tree houses, transparent bubbles. Because, today more than ever, travelers are looking for experiences, for magic, for stays to remember.
