Varied rankings of the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2021. The list also includes awards related only to the Old Continent market, with Vueling Airlines awarded as the best low-cost airline in Europe. This is no small achievement, considering the difficulties faced from the early part of 2020 to the present.

This is a first for Vueling, which emerges as a low-cost carrier in Europe but remains off the podium globally. Fourth step for World Best Airlines ranking., behind AirAsia, Southwest and Scoot. Vueling sets its sights on Italy
November will be an important month for Vueling. In fact, the low-cost carrier has announced the launch of as many 32 new routes at the Paris-Orly airport. These will target 10 countries. This will be available from the 2nd of the month.
This is a remarkable expansion project, considering how the new routes are in addition to the 20 already operating at the Paris airport during the winter season. Looking at Italy, five new connections will be introduced with the following airports:
- Milan Bergamo Orio al Serio
- Bologna
- Turin
- Genoa
- Bari
These are in addition to the three existing ones with Rome Fiumicino, Florence and Milan Malpensa. A remarkable expansion project through new destinations served in Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and Denmark. There will also be direct flights to Germany, Norway, Sweden, Ireland, Morocco and Malta for the first time.
