The story of Arina Bloom has been making the rounds on the Web. It is about a flight attendant engaged in making her world known through a TikTok account. What has attracted a number of users is the fact that the woman reveals details unknown to many about working as a stewardess, as well as some secrets of the company she works for, the United Airlines. She showed herself in uniform in some videos, but that was enough to get her fired.

Fired because of TikTok
Arina Bloom's followers were stunned to find out about United Airlines' decision. Her second career, the one on the web, cost her her job. She explained that she did not receive any warnings about it, "I was forced to resign because of this page TikTok. My airline was well aware of my activity. In August they had even commented on a video of me. I wasn't hiding anything. Suddenly, however, in December all this became a problem."
In the video in which the flight attendant (former for the moment) announces the incident to her followers, there is a bit of useful information to better understand what happened. The videos that got her in trouble, she explains, are the ones in which she was wearing her own uniform. Why had they not been considered a problem for United Airlines in the past? The answer is simple. All flight attendants post videos or photos of themselves in uniform in the course of their work. It would be unthinkable to "hunt them down" and force them to delete it. However, the issue when someone reports the social activity of one of them is different.
This is what happened to Arina Bloom, who clearly explains how each carrier must necessarily respond in some way to what is effectively a complaint of sorts. From reporting one or more users (she claims only one person) to firing them, to deleting all videos. This last gesture, however, did not save her job.

The future of Arina Bloom
Making videos about life as a stewardess was certainly a risk, probably not calculated. Arina Bloom explained this in her film. She believes, however, that on balance its contents were positive. Some secrets probably had to stay that way, such as not proceeding to clean the aircraft between flights, but in general, she says, all she was doing was showing how happy she was to be doing this job: "I think I pushed many people to consider this career. Mine was free publicity."
Thousands rallied in her favor, lashing out at United Airlines. It is hard to imagine, however, that any of this could have any real weight, other than emotional for the stewardess. As bitter as she appeared in her video announcement, she later gave some good news to her followers. She held some interviews with a variety of airlines. This, too, has become a source for new videos, offering useful tips for succeeding in getting hired by the best carriers in the business.
