Third installment devoted to ITA Airways' frequent flyer program. After talking about award tickets and accumulating qualifying and non-qualifying points, in this article we discuss how elite statuses are obtained.

Club Plus
It is the first level above Club Smart, the one of free admission for all. It is obtained by accumulating 30 thousand qualifying points. And offers the following benefits:

- return Of any baggage at the destination in priority mode compared to other passengers
- SkyPriority services
- priority boarding
- additional baggage allowance
Premium Club
It is the second elite level, what was called Winged Arrow in the Millemiglia program. It is obtained by accumulating a total of 60 thousand qualifying points in a calendar year. And offers the following benefits:
- access to priority security gates To avoid queues at security checkpoints and quickly access the departure area
- airport check-in at business class counters
- services SkyPriority Plus
- return Of any baggage at the destination in priority mode compared to other passengers
- priority boarding

Executive Club
It is the highest level, to get there. you need to accumulate 90 thousand qualifying points January to December

In conclusion
There is no minimum number of flights to become elite, which is the case in almost all loyalty programs. Also ,as is evident, there is no real difference between being Premium or Executive.
To get to 30,000 points as a minimum you have to spend 3,000 euros on ITA Airways tickets, but thanks to multipliers this figure can go down significantly. The same of course applies to the intermediate level, definitely the most interesting one.
Perhaps this is the only positive aspect of ITA Airways' new loyalty program.
