Announced October 15, when ITA Airways was officially born, the Volare loyalty program was supposed to take final flight by December 31, 2021. Then a few days before the deadline, phase II has been postponed.
In this article:
As stated on the company's website, and as also relayed by many authoritative news sources, at the moment the new date is still February 28/March 1.

Here are the points, but...
By today, the approximately 250,000 enrollees should (finally) see all flights and related points/miles earned from flights taken from October 15 to date credited. For those who also completed the challenge provided with enrollment in the first few months, The promised 10,000 bonus points should also arrive.
Dots just appeared on my personal page, a cold, non-clickable item that reads: 6.740
Evidently the system update was not released at one time. As reported to us by some readers, there is now also a statement item where accumulated points are shown.
It puzzles me that there is no difference between accumulated points and qualifying points. The former are those used to book award tickets and the latter those accounted for status renewal.
Also, the number of points does not seem to be calculated on the basis of 1 point/1 euro spent. Or if so, a multiplier must also be applied that I cannot currently understand.
The second date is then tomorrow, March 1, the date when it is planned to start spending the accumulated points and reserve award tickets with ITA.
However, it is a pity that to date no information on this has been published to the manner in which it will be possible to do so. The regulations of the program are not yet public, especially it is not known whether a fixed table will be adopted, as was the case with Alitalia/Millemiglia, or whether instead there will be dynamic pricing, as is the case with many companies today, based not only on distance, but also on other factors such as the fill rate and seasonality of the route.
We have written this several times in recent weeks, At the moment Volare is a lame duck. Not only do many companies not recognize the privileges provided by membership in the Skyteam alliance, but it is also not possible to accumulate points by flying with other carriers.
Without knowing how much it accumulates and how much an award ticket costs, it seems quite unrealistic that some subscribers could book a ticket as early as tomorrow, Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
