Air Canada reveals new livery designed especially for the release of the new animated film by the Disney "Turning Red" (only Red in the Italian version of the film).
In this article:
The collaboration between Air Canada and Disney produced a cute livery depicting various versions of the protagonist of the animated film when it turns into a giant red panda.
But not only that, Air Canada is also launching a contest with five prize packages, each with a trip for a family of 4 people direction Toronto to attend the film launch preview on March 8.
"As Canada's largest airline and the country's flag carrier, our partnership with Disney and Pixar for Turning Red, directed by award-winning Canadian director Domee Shi, is a wonderful opportunity to showcase Canadian talent and bring the best of Canada to the world.
We wanted customers of all ages to enjoy the special livery and be part of the excitement around this very special Canadian moment."
Andy Shibata, Vice President, Brand at Air Canada

Passengers on some Air Canada flights from this month will be able to witness a special movie on screens, a "Turning Redvideo" where special places in Toronto that inspired director Domee Shi will be seen.
"I am absolutely thrilled about this collaboration with Air Canada. I made Turning Red a love letter to Toronto and all things Canadian. Now to see the film celebrated on the airline that literally brought me and my family from China when I was growing up is especially meaningful to me.
I can't wait for Canadian audiences and people around the world to see the film and hopefully fall in love with Canada just like me."
Domee Shi, director of Turning Red
Using an airplane's livery as an advertising canvas is now a fairly common thing. Alitalia amazed everyone when it transformed one of its 747 in fleet in a love message with Perugina kisses.
But even more recently we have seen the transformation of a Emirates A380 in a commercial for Dubai Expo. or Qatar who did the same thing to remind the world which will host the World Cup in December.
