Excellent news for all members, especially family members, at the Flying Blue loyalty program, the frequent flyer of Air France and KLM.

The announcement of the new terms and conditions of the loyalty program came in an email. No bad news this time, in fact wonderful news: the French/Dutch frequent flyer is added to the list of programs that allow you to join stitches and optimize their use with a view to booking an award ticket.
What changes
Starting today, it will be possible to join up to a maximum of 8 accounts in one family group. The group may consist of 2 adults and 6 minors. And to avoid "sneakiness" an adult will not be allowed to leave the group for at least 6 months, so that families of convenience are not created.
- Flying Blue members over the age of 18 can create a Flying Blue family and invite their family members. There can be up to 2 adults (over the age of 18) and 6 children in 1 Flying Blue Family
- By creating a Flying Blue Family, you become the leader of the Flying Blue Family. You can then transfer your family members' miles to your Flying Blue account.
- You can only be a member of 1 Flying Blue Family. Family members can only leave the account after they have been a member for at least 6 months
- Flying Blue Family leader can transfer family members' miles to their Flying Blue account free of charge
To create the group, you must first enter your private area and then the appropriate section, after which you can invite other members.
The Flying Blue Family leader is the only person who can transfer miles (all or part) from the accounts of group members. After each transfer, all Flying Blue Family miles will be valid for two years. Mileage transfers are final; you will be notified by e-mail when they are moved to the shared account.
