South Korea has announced an end to restrictions on tourists heading to the Asian country.
In this article:
The important dates are actually two: March 21 and April 1.
Starting next March 21 all travelers with completed vaccination cycle will be able to travel freely to Seoul and other parts of the nation without undergoing 7 days of hotel quarantine.
Also starting March 21, those headed to Korea will no longer be required to take a PCR test before leaving, a quick swab taken within the last 24 hours before departure will also suffice.
You will need to download the COOV App and register by uploading all your immunization documentation before you leave.
From April 1, the rules become even simpler: the need to preregister on the APP will disappear, vaccination documents will be checked directly at the airport.
Also starting April 1, the ban on public transportation also falls, we will be able to move around freely using cabs, subways and buses, which is prohibited today.
In conclusion
April 1, Beyond Korea, Malaysia also reopens. Excluding China and Japan, therefore, Asia is almost completely open with very few restrictions.
