Costa Toscana marks the restart of Costa Cruises' fleet restart plan after the pandemic hiatus. Seven more ships will return to operation, adding to those already in service, until next summer, when the entire 12-ship fleet will be operational again. From spring 2022 to winter 2022-23, Costa's schedule includes a total of over 1,800 cruises. The company's ships will visit 179 destinations around the world, with a completely revamped range of excursions, providing about 1,800 tours different to have unique experiences at the heart of each place, including long stops at ports.

La first cruise of Costa Toscana, departing from Savona today March 5, plans a week-long itinerary that will visit Marseille, Barcelona, Valencia, Palermo and Civitavecchia/Rome. In addition, the ship has a number of cutting-edge technological innovations designed to further reduce environmental impact. The entire daily requirement of water is met by transforming that of the sea through the use of desalinators. Energy consumption is minimized thanks to a intelligent energy efficiency system. Also carried out on board is the 100% of separate collection. and the recycling of materials such as plastic, paper, glass and aluminum. The sea woods that furnish the islands of the new restaurant Archipelago have been recovered thanks to the "Guardians of the Coast", the environmental education program for the preservation of the Italian coastline promoted by Costa Cruises Foundation. For every dinner sampled at Archipelago, Costa Cruises will donate part of the proceeds to support environmental and social projects of the foundation.
