Condor: new livery
If you should see any giant candies or, even more absurdly, you happen to admire some of them in low-flying flight, about to land or take off, know that these are Condor planes. In fact, the German carrier has decided to change the style of its vehicles, opting for colorful stripes that give a certain candy effect.
A bold choice, for sure, but it is at the same time an original move that prompted a little bit of everyone in the industry to report the news. That was the goal, and it can be said that it was largely achieved. The style itself is simple but, at the same time, able to catch everyone's eye. After the online advertising launch, the implementation phase will take place shortly. This is confirmed by the company, which explains how the new planes will be a bit like clouds, reminiscent of something different depending on who is looking, from candy to umbrellas, from bath towels to beach chairs.
Not all planes will be the same. As many as five color combinations have been announced. All have a clear goal, to remind travelers who choose to book with Condor of something specific. The blue stripes point to the sea, those yellow Should be reminiscent of the sun. The red, on the other hand, commonly represents passion, while the green indicates the island. The last coloration is a combination of beige and gold, so as to recall the sand at the beach.
Condor: new uniforms and more
The desire for exhilarating coloring of its aircraft is not limited to Condor's liveries, however. Crew uniforms have also undergone a decidedly unique makeover. The colorful stripes will find their way onto the uniforms through a variety of accessories, from simple pins to ties. This trail of joy will also make its way onto the airline's social media and official website.
Over the course of the coming weeks and months, numerous items on board will be replaced. We are talking about cups, blankets, cutlery and much more. Everything will be colored according to the new guidelines. However, it is impossible not to take into account the service offered on the ground at the airport as well. Colored stripes also on boarding passes, airport signage and more.
Not everything will happen in the short run. Condor has given itself a clear timeline. By 2024 the "paint job" can be said to be complete. It will come to make the 80% about the fleet more colorful and cheerful. The presentation took place in Toulouse, where the first Airbus A330neo, which will take off for Condor in fall 2022, was shown. To date, however, a Airbus A321 with yellow stripes is already busy connecting with the island of Lanzarote. What to expect in close quarters? Five Boeing 757 e Airbus A320/1 Will be repainted. They will proceed to fly to Greece, Canary Islands, Majorca and Egypt.
