Los Angeles Airport is one of the busiest in the world, and for years Delta passengers, the world's largest airline, were calling for a renovation of the lounge, which was old and inadequate compared to the competition. Delta finally opened the doors, on April 20, to the new Delta Sky Club lounge at LAX Terminal 3.

Terminal 3 certainly sees the fiercest competition; in fact, this is where American Express' Centurion Lounge is located, the beautiful Star Alliance lounge, as well as the halls of British Airways and many other carriers.
Rules of access
To access this lounge you must have a ticket in business class with Delta or any other SkyTeam airline or U.S. carrier partner.
In addition, you can log in if you have Elite Plus status in any of the vectors participating in theSkyTeam alliance, such as Air France and KLM. Unfortunately at the moment ITA Airways, although a member of SkyTeam, does not have lounge access agreements, except for tickets issued in code share or in partnership with Delta: in this case, benefits under Volare status are likely to be recognized by the U.S. carrier.
Location
This opening was celebrated almost 18 months in advance compared to the chrono program, which includes the total redesign of Terminal 2/3 and Delta's home in Los Angeles. The new Delta Sky Club at LAX, is located on the departure level between T2 and T3 to conveniently serve passengers departing from both terminals.
"The planning for this Delta Sky Club began in 2018 and every detail, from seating to food and beverage offerings and premium design, has been selected to create a unique experience for guests," said Claude Roussel, Managing Director - Delta Sky Club. "Whether guests visit the new Delta Sky Club to dine, work, or simply enjoy the view, they will find much to love in this world-class lounge for a world-class airport."
The lounge is equipped with all types of seating, including private phone booths so you can work quietly and theater-style seating for viewing the media wall.
There is also a little piece of Italy, as the glass mosaic of the Coffee Grotto was made with tiles imported from our country. The Coffee Grotto is a corner that offers a glamorous peek into the atmosphere of Hollywood's Golden Age with an exquisite mosaic mural that is precisely made in Italy.
The jewel in the Club's crown is the Sky Deck, a year-round, all-weather terrace where guests can enjoy a drink from the premium bar and panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills.
Throughout the lounge, guests can enjoy numerous food buffets and beverage islands that feature a seasonally inspired selection of fresh produce, with options for dining and quick snacks.
In addition to the regular menu rotation, the Club will feature special food and beverage programming that shines a spotlight on local producers and restaurant talent. Through the Fresh Farm program, Delta partners with local artisans to highlight artisanal and regional food and beverage products.
Beginning June 1, Delta Sky Club's Local Flavor program will offer guests a taste of regional cuisine through its collaboration with up-and-coming local chefs. The first featured Local Flavor chef at the new LAX Delta Sky Club will be Akira Back, a Michelin-starred chef known for his creative interpretations of Asian cuisine with American influences.
