Norwegian Cruise Line today launched the NFT NCL marketplace, enabling global travelers and brand enthusiasts to own a piece of history. How? They will be able to win or purchase NFTs that replicate the design and inspiration of NCL's new ships, Norwegian Prima and Viva.

The launch of NFT's first collection, both for NCL and for the cruise industry, is in keeping with the philosophy of avant-garde and innovation that mark the brand's history.
The collection was created by Manuel Di Rita, known as "Peeta," the Italian artist who designed the creative for the hull of Norwegian Prima and its sister ship Norwegian Viva. The six pieces in the collection can be viewed at https://nft.ncl.com.
The first of the six pieces will be auctioned at a starting price of $ 2,500, while the others will be sold for as low as $ 250. The winner of the auction will also win a balcony cabin cruise on one of Norwegian Prima's inaugural voyages to the United States, which will sail from NCL's beautiful new PortMiami terminal.
All proceeds from the auction and NFT sales will be donated to Teach For America, a nonprofit organization whose mission is "to enlist, develop and mobilize as many of the nation's most promising future leaders as possible to grow and strengthen the movement for educational equity and excellence."
Starting in August 2022, Norwegian Prima will offer Northern European voyages from Amsterdam and, starting September 3, from Copenhagen. From October 27, Caribbean itineraries from Galveston (Texas), Miami and Orlando (Florida) will also be added.
