Emirates Business Rewards, what it's all about
Many airlines have, in addition to the traditional one, a loyalty program linked to business travel. These programs allow companies to accumulate points on flights paid for employees.
If standard miles end up on traveler profiles, miles from business programs end up on company profiles. You don't need to be a company with hundreds of employees, just travel for business.
What it takes to be enrolled in the EBR program
- You can join regardless of how many employees you have, as long as you have a registered company or organization
- There is no cost for enrollment
- Earn one Business Rewards point (separate from Skywards miles) for every dollar spent on Emirates airline tickets for you or any of your employees
- You can spend your Business Rewards points on flights and upgrades
The promotion that gives away 10,000 Skywards Business points
To celebrate the United Nations Small and Medium Enterprises Day, If you register by July 10, 2022 with the code EKBRUNSMEDAY22 you will receive a bonus of 10,000 Business Rewards points.
That's enough points for a round-trip Economy Class ticket to most Middle East/Africa/WAIO destinations from Dubai.
There is no requirement to buy a ticket, let alone fly one or more routes. The 10 thousand points will be immediately credited to the user's profile.
How much are 10 thousand points worth
Business rewards points have a different value than Skywards loyalty program points, but in some ways it is a greater value.
Points have a fixed value of 3 cents on the dollar, meaning that 10 thousand points can be worth 300$. The best way to use them is to book a ticket, such as to fly to Muscat from Dubai, or to one of the destinations in the Gulf area served by Emirates.
