W Hotels Worldwide, part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, is preparing to make its debut in Greece: on August 11, it will open the W Costa Navarino. It is already possible to make reservations to stay in this New adults-only facility located on Navarino Waterfront, the newest integrated development area of Navarino Coast, the Mediterranean's leading sustainable destination. The decision to have guests only over the age of 12 is made to ensure the best possible vacation for everyone.

Only 40 minutes from Kalamata International Airport, W Costa Navarino is easily accessible but remote enough to make guests feel immersed in a different world. Costa Navarino is already home to The Westin Resort Costa Navarino and The Romanos, Luxury Collection resort located at Navarino Dunes. Guests can now choose to experience one of the 246 rooms, suites or villas at the new 13-hectare beachfront resort.
Everything you need to know about the W Costa Navarino
Infinity Swim Up Rooms offer direct access to the pool, are perfect for groups of friends booking rooms close together. For privacy and exclusivity, guests can choose between the one- or two-bedroom WOW Beachfront Infinity Suites or one of the three-bedroom WOW Beachfront Infinity Villas, complete with terrace and private outdoor pool and direct beach access.
Room decor consists of locally inspired architectural elements mixed with state-of-the-art modern finishes, in-room technology and W Signature amenities. Renowned Greek architects Tombazis and Associates created an authentic, raw design throughout the hotel, using natural materials such as stone, wood, and reed, in homage to the traditional architecture of the region.
W Costa Navarino offers a sophisticated yet playful approach to dining and programming, immersing guests in a fusion of music, good food and beachfront entertainment. The resort's dining destinations include "Platia", the modern take on local gastronomy; "Between", the sunset bar; the W Lounge signed by the brand and "Parelia", the Beach Club, a modern take on Mediterranean beach bars.
Platia is a modern take on the traditional Messinian village square. A place to eat breakfast and small snacks throughout the day, it evokes the energy of a local Greek delicatessen market and is based on the concept of artisanal culinary stores. W Lounge offers the latest trends in mixology and is open all day with live music by emerging Greek and international artists.
Parelia, the beach club designed by Athens-based architecture firm K-studio, overlooks a long sandy shoreline of Navarino Bay and is set to become a dining and nightlife destination, with its Mani-style stone walls and coffered wood ceilings. Here, local and international DJs will take turns and create perfect soundtracks for high-energy nights to remember.
The bar specializing in raw fish Between frames the beautiful Messina sunset with cocktails, light fare and live DJ performances. This W Escape embraces its location and community through its dynamic food offerings and offers authentic local experiences, from traditional village cooking classes to local olive oil and wine tastings.
"We are excited about the arrival of W Hotels in Greece and the debut of W Costa Navarino. The W Escape, with its rustic yet sophisticated design, is a showcase of the evolution of the W Hotels brand design and will complement some of our more recent openings in EMEA, such as the W Rome. And as we continue to focus on the changing needs of leisure travelers, the planned programming and adult-only focus of the W Costa Navarino will strengthen our global portfolio of exclusive W Hotels brand experiences," said Candice D'Cruz, vice president, Marriott International Luxury Brands, EMEA.
Destined to become a buen retiro for free-spirited travelers, the latest W Escape, the W Hotels brand's playful interpretation of the traditional luxury resort experience, takes advantage of its scenic location and blends high-energy atmosphere with tranquil, serene landscapes. Against the backdrop of pristine beaches and secluded coves, adrenaline junkies can experience hiking, sailing, and rock climbing, with a brand new water sports center coming in 2023. Each evening, the Sunset Beats ritual will be a prelude to a unique night on the curated notes of the Parelia beach club, which overlooks the large WET Deck.
How much does it cost to sleep in this hotel
Room prices for the month of August and September are between 370 and 430 euros for the basic room, prices that obviously go up for rooms with direct access to private pools, all the way to beautiful beach villas where you can enjoy the ultimate in privacy.
At the moment I don't feel like recommending the use of Bonvoy points to book this facility, as the cost starts from 80 up to 100 thousand points per night, which is definitely high when compared to the price per night.
