A couple of readers have rightly pointed out to us that we devote little space to the Miles&More loyalty program. This is true, and in the coming weeks we will try to catch up. talking more often about Lufthansa's frequent flyer and the entire group.
In this article:
We begin today by talking about monthly offers called Mileage Bargains, which in German have the name Meilenschnaeppchen. These offers are similar to the monthly Flying Blue promos and allow you to detach award tickets at a cost, in points, significantly lower than the standard cost.
Compared to the AF/KLM program offerings there are many more routes to all over the world with discounts as low as 50%.
Setting Italy as the starting point, there are 38 destinations on offer to fly in economy, premium eco and business to dozens of destinations.
Typical discounts are as follows for all airlines and offers:
- Economy Class 50% discount (for example, a round trip to Singapore costs 40,000 miles instead of 80,000)
- Premium Economy 50% discount (for example, a round trip to Los Angeles costs 40,000 miles instead of 80,000)
- Business Class over 50% discount (for example, a round trip to Denver costs 55,000 miles instead of 112,000 or 60,000 miles instead of 127,000)
Most of this month's offers must be booked by September 30, 2022, and, depending on the route and airline, are valid for flights between October and January, with most in December and January.
In Italy there are Two credit cards that allow you to accumulate Mile&More points with everyday expenses and are issued by Unicredit.
