Aeroitalia began flight operations on April 26, 2022. The first scheduled flight was operated on July 9, 2022 from Luigi Ridolfi Airport in Forlì. On October 13, 2022, it opened its hub airport in Milan Bergamo. The new Italian airline was founded in 2022 by President German Efromovich and Chairman Marc Bourgade; it is led by CEO Gaetano Francesco Intrieri, Chief Commercial Officer Krassimir Tanev, and Executive Vice President Operations Ugo Calvosa.
The fleet consists of five Boeing B737/800 aircraft and one ATR 72/600 operated by Air Connect. Precisely with this ATR we flew in recent weeks the historic Trapani/Catania interregional link.
