In recent weeks we flew to Japan on ITA Airways' inaugural flight., a few days later, unfortunately, we had to return home. The outbound flight we took in the economy comfort class, the one that for a fee allows you to travel with a few more inches than the rest of the tourist class seats.

The return flight, on the other hand, was in business class, the choice to fly this route in the best seat possible stemmed from the desire to spend nearly 15 hours lying comfortably.
The flight from Tokyo Haneda to Rome Fiumicino departed a few minutes after 1 p.m. and landed at 8 p.m. the same day at Rome airport's Terminal 3.

The flight was by far the longest I have ever flown on board an Italian airline, Is not on the list of the world's longest flights, but certainly Is in the top 5 of those leaving from Italy.
