The air Christmas calls famous movies such as "an armchair for two" or "mommy missed the plane," today's story is inspired by the second movie, today's protagonist however took the flight, only it was the flight wrong!
In this article:
The Mexican Marijose Gamboa wanted to return home to Tuxtla Gutiérrez from Guadalajara on a flight operated by Volaris but incredibly ended up at Seattle For a flight error.
The passenger was not carrying the passport being a domestic flight, she was in the queue at the gate when a Volaris employee checking the queues made her move In another row that was apparently for another Gate for another flight leaving at the same time but was headed for the United States.
Once she got on board, her place was obviously busy but the flight attendants thinking it was overbooking or a mistake made her sit in another empty seat, so the flight left.
The problem is that the flight was of 5 hours against the 2 hours scarce she had to make home, halfway through the flight the crew handed her the forms to immigration. Gamboa at that point asked the flight attendants for help and discovered precisely that she was on the flight wrong.
Once she landed at the wrong airport Volaris took charge of the passenger accompanying it to immigration and hurrying the practices to get her home and booking her a flight paid for by the company.
They wanted to go to London and ended up in Madrid
This is, of course, not the first time this has happened; in the spring two British tourists heading to London ended up at the airport in Madrid on a flight operated by Ryanair.
"An hour after our flight, Jesse said he thought he heard a flight attendant say Madrid, but we thought he had dreamed it.
When we heard the flight attendants speaking in Spanish, we had no idea how this was possible. Our boarding passes were scanned three times before boarding. We were baffled, as were the flight attendants. We finally got home, but we still have no idea how it happened. It's not like taking the wrong bus-we literally ended up in another country!"
Once again the mistake was made at the gate where the two unfortunate people were made move evidently in the wrong row.
