American Airlines and Airports of Rome announce the introduction of the second daily flight which will double direct connections from Rome Fiumicino (FCO) to Dallas - Fort Worth (DFW), offering passengers 2 flights a day from Italy's main airport to American's largest hub.

During the 2023 summer season, American Airlines will operate up to 14 direct flights a week from the capital of Italy to the capital of Texas, allowing passengers to continue to numerous destinations across the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
"I am happy to announce the second daily direct flight from Rome Fiumicino to Dallas - Fort Worth," commented Cristina Casati, Regional Sales Manager Southeast Europe for American Airlines. "This important milestone testifies to the importance of the Italian market for American and we are pleased to further intensify our relationship with Aeroporti di Roma by operating up to 42 direct flights per week from Rome to the United States of America during the upcoming summer season."
"Doubling the frequency of the flight to Dallas is a gratifying confirmation of the fruitful partnership historically developed with American Airlines," said Federico Scriboni, Head of Aviation Business Development at Aeroporti di Roma. "The connection to Dallas, which was launched in 2017, immediately stood out for its high commercial performance and high appreciation by the market. The increase in supply is a sign of confidence for the upcoming 2023 summer season, which sees Fiumicino confirmed as one of the most requested European hubs in terms of scheduled capacity by the most relevant international airlines."
The second daily flight between Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and Dallas - Fort Worth (DFW) will operate from June 2 to Sept. 6, 2023, with Boeing 787 aircraft offering passengers a complete upscale experience including Business Class and Premium Economy seats, state-of-the-art interiors, live TV streaming, high-speed Wi-Fi, and hundreds of on-demand movies and TV shows usable from each seat.
