Wizz Air also flies to Trieste: airline announces 4 new routes from Italy

The European ultra low-cost airline Wizz Air. announced a major new expansion of its network with 4 new routes departing from Italy which in the coming months will involve the airports of Trieste, Naples, Toast e Lamezia Terme, generating new very low-cost travel opportunities for all its Italian customers.

Tickets for all routes are already available for purchase on the Wizz Air website and via the app WIZZ starting at €24.99.

The new routes, which from Italy will connect the airports of Trieste, Naples, Toast e Lamezia Terme a Tirana, represent an important addition to the airline's already rich portfolio of destinations for the 2023 summer season.

All new flights will be operated with the most recent Airbus A321neo, among the most sustainable aircraft, which features 239 places on board. 

With the occasion, Wizz Air also announced theinauguration of the new Trieste station, the 27th for the airline's Italian network, which will further strengthen the air carrier's presence in the territory, boosting tourism in a region renowned for its rich historical heritage and wide variety of cultural, natural, food and wine, and folklore.

As well as the ability to personalize one's travel experience, Wizz Air offers travelers high flexibility through the WIZZ Flex. By adding it to their reservation, passengers will have an additional layer of protection and can choose to travel on a different date or to a different destination, as well as have the option to cancel their flight up to 3 hours before departure without a fee and get 100% of the original fare immediately refunded in airline credit.

La ultra-modern and efficient fleet, also strengthens the airline's position as one of the most sustainable and will enable Wizz Air to Further reduce its environmental impact by 25% per passenger/kilometer by the end of the decade.
