Today Flying, the frequent flyer of ITA Airways, announced a new partnership with ALL, Accor Live Limitless, the loyalty program of the hotel chain of the same name.
The Volare/All partnership
In this article:
From now on, it is possible to move points from one program to another, with different conversion rates.
From Flying to ALL
It is possible to turn a minimum of 4000 points into 1000 points ALL, a conversion rate therefore of 4 to 1. Not exactly the most generous. To convert points just go to the Volare profile on the dedicated page and select the amount of points you want to send to the made-in-France loyalty program.
From All to Fly
Collaboration makes it possible to Convert points accumulated from stays at the French hotel chain's hotels into Volare points with a conversion rate of 4:5, that is, it is possible to convert 4000 ALL points into 5000 fly points.
Point conversion is possible starting today, Jan. 26, and involves the transfer of a minimum of 4000 points rising. As with all other conversions, it is an irreversible choice. This means that once points are transferred from ALL to Volare, it will not be possible to convert the points back to the home program.
Alternatively, you can decide to immediately convert the points you accumulate with each stay into Volare points. To do this, simply set up automatic transfer from the appropriate page.
Compared with other promotions, this is probably the worst solution you can have in using ALL points, also considering that there is no launch offer or promotion for those who activate this transfer mode.
ALL's other partnerships
The French program also partners with Flying Blue and Qatar's Privilege Club, and , sorry to say, those are two much more generous partnerships.
In the case of Air France/KLM, it is possible to accumulate points simultaneously when flying and when staying in Accor hotels. In my case, for example, I currently have 1349 points in ALL, all accumulated automatically (and for free) by flying with AF and KLM. In addition, thanks to this partnership you can also earn XP points useful for status.
Even more interesting is the agreement that links Accor ALL members to Privilege Club members in Qatar. Not only is cross-accumulation possible, but there is also the possibility of obtaining the Cross status match between the two loyalty programs.
In conclusion
Good this partnership, but it is still too little considering that we are at the end of January and Volare still lacks real collaborations With the other Skyteam companies, excluding Korean Air, collaborations that were to come As declared by the end of the year. To date, it seems clear that the program continues to be a "lame duck" And maybe it will stay that way until it is concluded the sale to Lufthansa resulting in a switch to Miles&More.
