Ryanair unveils 16 new routes to Rome for summer 2023
Alicante, Faro, Palma, Rabat, Cork, Liverpool and Vilnius among new destinations
Ryanair announced its operational for summer 2023 to/from its 2 bases in Rome (Ciampino and Fiumicino) with 16 new routes to destinations in the sun as Alicante, Faro, Palma and Rabat and city break locations such as Cork, Liverpool and Vilnius.

- Investment of $1.5 billion in Rome's 2 airports

- Increased frequencies on 16 routes to Austria, France, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Spain, Malta, Poland, Portugal and the UK
- More than 7,500 jobs in the supply chain, including more than 550 direct, highly paid jobs for pilots, cabin crew and engineers
Ryanair will operate more than 1,000 weekly flights to/from Rome in summer 2023. The company has invested $1.5 billion in Ciampino and Fiumicino airports, with 15 aircraft based there.
In order to grow tourism in Italy in 2023., Ryanair has asked the new Prime Minister and his government "to abolish the municipal surtax for all Italian airports and allow Ryanair to offer even more growth, tourism and jobs in Italy in 2023.
