Wizz Air flies to Arabia and Armenia: two new routes opened from Rome and Venice
One is the Rome Fiumicino - Jeddah route, while the other will depart from Venice bound for Yerevan. Here are the details
After closing Bari base and launching new summer routes., Wizz Air recently inaugurated two new flights. One is the flight from Rome to Jeddah. The route will be served with twice-weekly flights in January-March 2023 and three times a week from April 2023. The other is the first Flight from Marco Polo airport in Venice to Zvartnots airport in Yerevan, Armenia. In this case the route will be served by biweekly flights.

The rapid expansion of the network to Saudi Arabia and other countries makes Wizz Air the leading airline by number of routes operated to and from Rome Fiumicino.
Also known as "the gateway to Saudi Arabia", Jeddah has for centuries been the destination of many pilgrims heading to the holy cities of Medina and Mecca. As of January 11, 2023, therefore,Wizz Air passengers will be able to reach Saudi Arabia's second-largest city from Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport from which The airline has launched two more routes to Dammam and Riyadh, opened in September and December 2022, respectively.
The route between Rome Fiumicino and Jeddah is part of a series of 23 new routes to Saudi Arabia announced in recent months by Wizz Air.

VENICE - YEREVAN
With the new flight between Venice and Yerevan, Wizz Air strengthens its presence at its Venetian base.
