Gulf Air, the national airline of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the Additional frequencies to and from Italy starting next March 6, 2023, in response to growing demand for Italy and from the Italian market for all its destinations.

The airline's flights will become daily flights to and from Milan thanks to this increase, while the frequencies To and from Rome will increase by offering 3 weekly flights (Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays).
Acting CEO of Gulf Air Capt. Waleed Al Alawi commented, "Our operations to and from Italy have proven to be a great commercial success, and the Italian market remains of great importance to Gulf Air. Our revamped services, which are of a high standard of quality, offer convenience and connectivity for our passengers to travel to and from Bahrain and to other destinations within our network."
Flights to the two Italian airports are operated with Airbus A321neo single-aisle aircraft outfitted in two classes: falcon gold and economy. For longer routes GF has a fleet of dreamliners also outfitted in two classes.
The company is not participating in any alliance, although some rumors seem to suggest that the carrier can become a member of Star Alliance in the near future.
