ITA Airways together with Paralympic committee for inclusive mobility: agreement signed
The agreement aims to improve services offered to people with disabilities in air transportation

This is the subject of the agreement signed in recent days by the CEO and General Manager of ITA Airways Fabio Maria Lazzerini and from the President of the Italian Paralympic Committee Luca Pancalli, presented at CIP headquarters in the presence of the Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli and the President of Enac (National Civil Aviation Authority). The agreement, specifically, aims to. Improve services offered to people with disabilities in the area of air transportationo, starting from the real needs of passengers. To this end, a comparison table which will be attended by representatives of ITA Airways and the Italian Paralympic Committee whose task will be to Identify critical issues in air transportation for all people with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities, starting from the experiences of female Paralympic athletes engaged in national and international competitions.
La partnership between ITA Airways and the CIP, among other things, also includes support for all Paralympic athletes, managers and technicians, through the possibility to travel by air to the destinations of their competitions or trainings, with dedicated fares and discounts. This will benefit the CIP and all the sports federations recognized by it. Also planned are joint communication and social actions aimed at promoting the rights of people with disabilities, starting with the right to barrier-free mobility.
ITA Airways since its inception has been closely linked to the world of sports, to whom the new livery of his new Airbus A319, A320, A220, A330 and A350, which bear the name of the great champions and champions of Italian sports history.
