"Efficient operations and competitive airport charges form the foundation from which Ryanair can ensure long-term traffic growth and increased connectivity. We have worked closely with our partners at Rimini Airport to ensure this growth and improve services for those who live, work or wish to visit Emilia-Romagna." so Mauro Bolla Ryanair's country manager in Italy "As we celebrate the 25th anniversary since we began operations in Rimini, Ryanair remains committed to bringing further growth to the region, and we are pleased to announce our new and largest summer operation to Rimini, operating more than 48 weekly flights (peak) on 9 routes, including 1 new one to Prague."
AIRiminum CEO Leonardo Corbucci said: "The renewal of this important partnership will be the basis of an ambitious project to develop air connections at Fellini, which confirms the willingness of the leading European and Italian airline to invest in Rimini. Thanks to the joint action of the airport's management company, the Emilia Romagna Region, the APT and the Municipality of Rimini in the coming years, about 2 million tickets will be put on sale by Ryanair precisely to encourage the growth of international tourist flows in the entire Romagna territory and its reachability also for business traffic."
Andrea Corsini, Regional Councillor for Mobility and Transport, Infrastructure, Tourism and Trade of the Emilia Romagna Region, added: "We have always aimed at the internationalization of our tourism offer, a "game" in which High Speed and air connections play a fundamental role. The multi-year agreement between Ryanair and the Fellini, "gateway" to the vacation in Romagna, but not only, is an important piece of the positioning of our tourism proposal on the global scenario."
