When I published the news yesterday about the award nights available at Conrad Rangali Island, one of the most exclusive resorts in the Maldives I was inundated with all kinds of questions.
In this article:
What made me happiest, however, is seeing this message, that of a reader who in less than 10 minutes using Hilton points secured a savings of $19,000. Which then is the whole point of this site's existence, which is to help people take advantage of points to have otherwise unattainable experiences.
The Hilton Honors Program
The Hilton Honors loyalty program has a unique feature in the landscape of loyalty programs. It is the only one that allows you to combine points with family and friends without paying a fee. There are two ways to do this: Transfer Hilton points to another person or by merging profiles with each other.
The need not to scatter piles of points here and there, and the possibility of making common cash to book a super vacation is the icing on What we think is the best loyalty program for Italian travelers.
How to accumulate Hilton Honors points
Points can be earned by staying at the group's hotels around the world, taking advantage of bonuses and promotions, and even traveling in Lyft cars. The accumulated points can be used to stay in Bali with only 5,000 points per night or in the Maldives at more than 100 thousand points per night.
Transferring Hilton points to another person
Hilton Honors members can Transfer points to another member's account at a 1:1 ratio, up to six times per calendar year. The process is rapid. To do so one must:
- Access the Hilton Honors Profile
- Enter the Points menu
- Click on "Transfer Points."
- On the next page enter the number of points you wish to transfer, the recipient's name, Hilton Honors number, and e-mail address.
The operation is completed in a maximum of a few hours, but it is usually minutes

Pooling points is a bit more complicated than simply transferring them, but it is still not difficult. It works well when members do not have enough points individually to redeem for free nights, but they do when they combine points together.
How to group Hilton points:
- First, you need to identify the captain, that is, who will accumulate the points in his or her account. Needless to say, the captain must be a person of trust and solid morals and the user with the highest status
- The captain invites group members to participate in the "pool," the group can contain a minimum of 2 up to a maximum of 11 users, including the captain.
- People invited to join the group must accept and then transfer points from the same invitation email
- The pool leader can request points from each person in the pool, but keep in mind that transfers are unidirectional for the leader:
Pooling is great in situations where larger groups of friends and families want to contribute points to a common trip, Whether it is a vacation together or a collective gift for a honeymoon.
