The reasons why you may need to sleep in a hotels near the airport are many. In my case it is Blame a strike that altered my travel plans and a last-minute change, which resulted in me arriving in Paris the night before my afternoon flight: because if there is one thing I have long understood living 80 km from Nice, it is that the French when they strike do things right, not the Italian way.

Reservation
In this early part of the year, I try not to use points for two reasons. The price is not so high as to justify the use of Bonvoy points, but more importantly it is the offer that gives qualifying double nights I'm interested in making the most of. Earning two qualifying nights each paid night helps me halve my efforts to renew status - at least Platinum - in Marriott's loyalty program.
Location
This Moxy is located 5 minutes from Terminal 1 and slightly more from Terminal 2. You can Get there via the CDGval, which is the little train that connects the terminals with the TGV and metro station, parking lots and hotels. However, I preferred to take a cab and spend 12 euros so that I did not have to walk in the piaggia.
The Rossypole station of the CDGval is a 5-minute walk from the hotel entrance. In addition to this Moxy there are other hotels in the area such as Mercure and Melia.
Check-in
I arrived from the underground parking lot and immediately got a taste of Moxy, with the couch and mega-bear waiting for me in front of the elevators.
Ascended to the main floor, I checked in and went to the room. The environment was truly Moxy. There were those who played table-football, those who ate freshly baked pizza, and those who chatted amiably.
One thing that identifies the Moxy is that the bar counter in the corner becomes the reception where they do paperwork. This is the case in all the hotels in this chain.
The spirit of the Moxy is just that: Young environment away from classic hotel standards with the addition of design and alcohol. Including a welcome cocktail that every Moxy guest can enjoy at various hotels around the world.
In the room
There is little to say, or disagree with, about Moxy rooms. Except in rare cases, they are cookie-cutter, because these facilities are built from the ground up to be a Moxy-they are born that way.
When you wake up, if you've been partying too much the night before, it's impossible to tell where you are without looking out the window; in the case of a Moxy near an airport, you can't tell even by looking out the window. The room has a bed, mega TV, bathroom and an armchair.
Then there are effects and plays of light, such as the illuminations of the bed, that make it look as if the bed is suspended in thin air, but otherwise this is the room. Unlike Aloft, where design even reaches into the room, in the Moxy everything is standard.
Moxyness
The way at Moxy is beautiful at all hours. In fact, the bar is open 24 hours a day. The only thing I never do at these hotels is breakfast: it's cheap but nothing spectacular, so I prefer to have a cappuccino at the airport, or in the lounge.
If in the evening when I arrived the environment was full of kids, in the morning there were many people, but only the average age was considerably lower with many screaming children along with their parents.
In the Moxy there is also always a small gymnasium, nothing exaggerated or futuristic, but just the bare essentials to keep in training.
I stopped for an hour or so to work in an area slightly isolated from the rest of the guests and wrote this review.
In conclusion
Moxy is a certainty, from the heart of New York to Milan, from Paris to Lisbon. The price is competitive, the product is very good, and the fun is guaranteed. Always.
