Since the start of its operations to Genoa, Ryanair has introduced numerous domestic as well as international routes, and this summer it will be the leading airline in terms of number of routes to Genoa, connecting the Ligurian capital to 12 destinations with more than 80 weekly flights.Â

Mauro Bolla of Ryanair stated:"We are very pleased with our 24-year relationship with Genoa Airport, one of the first airports in Italy where Ryanair has operated. This long-standing partnership has enabled Ryanair to offer for summer '23 12 routes to/from Genoa, more than 80 weekly flights and to connect Liguria with major leisure and business destinations in Italy and Europe. On behalf of Ryanair, I am pleased to present passengers Francesco Arrigo and Isabella Correnti and their children with vouchers to travel from Genoa to any destination in our network, wishing them to sit back, relax and enjoy flying with Ryanair."
Piero Righi, General Manager of Genoa Airport, said: "Today we celebrate an important milestone in the long partnership between Genoa Airport and Ryanair. The Irish airline has been in Genoa since way back in 1999, but since last year we have been on a growth path that has multiplied routes and seats for sale to and from our airport. Ryanair's connections allow Ligurians to fly at great fares, but also allow tens of thousands of tourists to visit our region. The data show that with direct flights, Ryanair stimulates international incoming tourism, making it grow three times more than average and generating significant economic returns to the territory, in the order of tens of millions of euros. We will continue to work to stimulate Ryanair to invest in Genoa and Liguria by involving all the Bodies, Institutions and stakeholders interested in strengthening the air connectivity of our region."
