JetBlue's A321lr
JetBlue is one of the few companies that uses the A321lr for intercontinental connections, But year after year this number is bound to increase and Crossing the Atlantic on a single-aisle plane will no longer be an exception.
There are 138 seats on board the A321lr. The first 12 rows accommodate 24 mint class seats, which is Jetblue's business class.
The two front row seats are called Mint Studios. They are even larger, have a bench that allows two in the same seat, a larger TV, and lots of extra space for passengers.
The rest of the cabin is configured with the classic 3-3. The first 4 rows house "Even more Space," or economy seats that offer more legroom.
What all JetBlue passengers get is top-notch service, above-average catering, stellar wi-fi, a great entertainment system and live TV channels.
JetBlue has outstanding soft product in all cabins. There is also free Wi-Fi for all passengers, as well as personal televisions, including on-demand and live TV programs.
Aggressive pricing
JetBlue wants to bully its way into the Atlantic route market to Amsterdam and is doing so by announcing aggressive pricing with a/r economy tickets at less than 500$ and business class tickets apiably under 2000$, figures significantly lower than flights to and from London.
Needless to say, at these figures it is an experience that should definitely be tried.
