With less than a year to go before the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the childhood home of Baron Pierre de Coubertin has been transformed to offer guests a journey through time.

For one night only, two people will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history of the Olympics staying at the Château de Mirville, one of the stops on the Olympic flashlight route in 2024 and home of the founder of the modern Games, Baron Pierre de Coubertin.
Built in the 16th century, Château de Mirville is where the young Coubertin developed such a love of sports that years later it led him to transform the ancient Olympic Games into the modern Games we all know today.
This coming July 18, this historic mansion - recently restored to its former glory thanks to the support of the International Olympic Committee and Airbnb's Heritage and Local Tourism program - will be available on the platform for a one-time stay at the symbolic price of €24, in honor of Paris 2024.

The living room
Château de Mirville is nestled in the valley of the Pays de Caux in Normandy, France. At the heart of the castle, Coubertin's private study has been transformed into an extraordinary sports suite that pays tribute to the building's role in the history of the modern Olympic Games.
Guests will thus embark on a journey through time and Olympic greatness. They will also have the opportunity to:
- challenge French tennis champion Caroline Garcia on the court where one of the first lawn tennis matches in France is believed to have been played;
- discover the entire residence through a private tour together with an exceptional companion: the great-grandson of Pierre de Coubertin, Jacques de Navacelle, host of the stay;
- take a boat ride on the lake where Coubertin developed his passion for rowing, at the end of which guests will enjoy a picnic on the specially constructed floating dock;
- immerse themselves in the history of the Olympics by discovering historical memorabilia such as Coubertin's 1892 Olympic Manifesto, an original document showing the rings as they were first designed by Coubertin, and an entry ticket for the first Games in 1900[2];
