Air Europa returns to connect Venice with the rest of the world

After the stop due to the health emergency, next June 2024 Air Europa will resume connections from Venice Marco Polo airport to Madrid Barajas. An important milestone involving the Iberian carrier alongside SAVE, the management company of the lagoon airport. Air Europa thus reopens the gateway from Italy to Spain, offering a Wide range of connections to American and Caribbean long haul destinations operated by the company.

"With the reinstatement of this route, Air Europa once again confirms itself as the airline of reference for connections between Europe and the Americas with the aim of intensifying even more traffic from Italy, a key market for our Spanish carrier," comments Renato Scaffidi, Air Europa's Italy Country Manager, "After the stop forced by the health emergency, we believe that the time is again ripe to resume operations and from next June 2024 we will be able to guarantee our passengers departing from Venice 2 daily frequencies to reach not only our Madrid hub, but also to the many destinations in the Americas and Caribbean in our network including Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, Dominican Republic, the United States, Peru and many others."
