Small update to the news we published last night, this morning a BeOnd press conference call arrived in the newsroom announcing the new Milan/Malé flight, an unexpected news that will make Milan the only airport in the world served by two "all business" airlines.

We have already talked about Beond, the Maldives' new premium airline to fly aboard "all business" planes in the Indian Ocean paradise. The news is that pictures of the preparation of the livery of the first aircraft in the Airbus A321ceo fleet that the new airline will use to fly from Malé to Europe have surfaced on social media.
About BeOnd
BeOnd's challenge is. entirely new compared to the de La Compagnie: experiencing the All Business to a quintessential leisure destination; which has some high peaks during the peak season and faces competition from large Gulf airlines and private flights, as well as carriers from halfway around the world (including ITA Airways).
BeOnd was established in Novmeber 2022 as a joint venture between Arabesque, an investment company based in the United Arab Emirates, and the Simdi Group, a hospitality-related company based in the Maldives. The carrier has ambitious goals and aims to operate from 50 destinations by 2028. But either way, it wants to push the concept and offerings toward affordable luxury.
The flagship
The livery judging from the renders put online with the company's launch is beautiful, albeit on a small A321 and not on the fuselage of a twin-aisle aircraft.
Judging from the photos posted on official channels It seems to be close to the unveiling of the first plane, the one that will be used for the launch while waiting for other aircraft to be added to the fleet, all strictly narrow-body. A choice designed to keep down the costs of both building and maintaining a fleet that will need to be a minimum of 20 aircraft within the next five years to achieve its goals.
The airline has opened the ticket sales for the first flights and the offer includes three types of call rates Delight, Bliss and Opulence.
All three provide fully reclining seats, and the same level of catering and entertainment on board. The differences are on other services: from the 40 kg of luggage to be checked in with Delight up to the 60 Kg for Opulence; going through fast track to lounge access to limousine transfer to the airport.
Doing a simulation in November, the price for a flight round trip from Zurich is around the $4,100 in Delight class, going up to $4,700 for the highest fare, Opulence.
Cuddling on board
Of course, on the ground and on board everything will be taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the chauffeur to get to the airport to the china for serving meals for passengers.
Clip has collaborated with English brand William Edwards to create a custom tableware collection steeped in old world sophistication and traditional craftsmanship. The collection consists of fine china with delicate gold filigree patterns. Each piece in the set embodies understated luxury.
In conclusion
BeOnd is scheduled to take off in a few weeks, barring delays, for its first flight from Malé to Zurich, via Dubai. The plane is ready, the china is there, now only the passengers are missing.
